EFU General Insurance Ltd. is seeking mid-level finance professionals to join its Finance Department at the Head Office, Karachi.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements for various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
- Manage and maintain detailed budgets, track actual expenditure against forecasts, and identify variances
- Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies or issues in reporting
- Assist in the preparation of management reports highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, maintaining high standards in documentation and reporting
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to manipulate data, create reports, and automate financial processes wherever possible.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews through detailed financial documentation and explanations.
- Communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Continuously improve the efficiency of finance processes and reporting formats through proactive feedback and innovation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: ACCA / ICMA or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance functions within a large organization, preferably with branch networks or banks
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, management reporting, and handling large datasets
Required Skills:
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good command of MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
