1.Operating, maintaining and repairing existing irrigation systems to ensure adequate moisture to the turf grass.
2. Keeping records related to irrigation system i.e. repair costs, maintenance expenses etc.
3. Calaculating amount of irrigation water to be applied to turf.
4. Setting and maintaining automatic irrigation systems to run systematically according to the golf care program.
5. Designing, installing testing& maitaining new irrigation systems, backflow devices and controllers.
6. Instructing irrigation crew for irrigation programs.
7. Supervising the irrigation practice on the whole on day to day basis.
8. Working by example & making hand dirty in practical work if need be.
9. The responsiblities are not limited to the scope of description.
10. The tentative personnel should adjust to the needs & challenges the concerned department may going through and prove to be able & fit to work under pressure.
11.The workplace of an irrigation supervisor is Eighteen's site area.
