The ideal candidate holds a Diploma of Associate Engineering in Die & Mold Technology and has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in tool design and development, as well as die manufacturing. This position focuses on supporting the production process by designing, manufacturing, and maintaining precision tools and dies, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations. The role does not require team management but demands a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills within a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop precision tools and dies in accordance with manufacturing specifications and production requirements.
- Manufacture and assemble dies, molds, and tooling components using industry-standard techniques and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and repair of existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to produce accurate tooling solutions.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve tooling problems and improve product quality.
- Maintain detailed records of tooling designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
- Utilize measuring instruments and inspection techniques to verify tooling accuracy and functionality.
- Assist in developing tooling process documentation, including setup instructions and operating procedures.
- Monitor tool wear and recommend replacements or enhancements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while operating machinery and handling tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts aimed at optimizing tooling processes and reducing manufacturing costs.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in tool design, die manufacturing technologies, and industry best practices.
- Support the training of junior staff or apprentices by sharing knowledge and expertise in tool design and die making.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary tooling materials and components.
