Coordinate and support electrical maintenance and operation team in the operation and troubleshooting electrical equipment’s for assigned facilities in Dolphin Ras Laffan plant and Offshore Platforms.
Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Electrical Section at the assigned area. Performs supervisory duties at the level established by management for the position.
Assist the Planning Section in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programmes. Reviews historical data on equipment malfunctions and a manufacturer recommended maintenance procedures and provides proposals for maintenance intervals. Prepare the detailed equipment check lists for each maintenance cycle and the estimation of man hour and skill requirements for such work.
Supervises and participates in the execution of the daily work programmes which includes all routine corrective or defect maintenance work on wide range of electrical equipment. Participates in complex tests, calibration and star-up of systems upon completion of maintenance work .arrange and approve the replacement of faulty parts.
Compile/provide input for preparation of Department/section Capital and Operating budgets and monitor annual expenditure budgets.
Develop scope of work for Major overhauls of electrical equipment, work service orders and mini projects, coordinate implementation with other Sections.
Monitors the quality and performance of the assigned areas electrical maintenance programs against the KPIs and ensures continuous improvement of services.
Conduct site engineering studies to determine the feasibility of introducing modification to increase reliability and efficiency of plant.
Enforce the implementation of DEL Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all department personnel.
