ESCO is seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to pioneer a sales plan that supports the strategic growth of ESCO by cultivating new business from Defence / Govt. / Housing Societies/ Construction /Other projects as well as growing existing accounts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare necessary documentation and meet requirements for bid qualification and registration/enrollment with the customer/organization(s).

  • Develop and cultivate active lead generating teams with daily assigned targets.

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

  • Conduct market research to develop lists of potential clients appropriate for Company’s business.

  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers

  • .Conduct solution-oriented sales with new business prospects

  • Act as a key account manager for assigned accounts looking after: pre-sales budgeting and engineering estimates, PC1, tender openings, financial and technical proposals, earnest deposits and their timely recovery, quotations, delivery, receivables and after sales in collaboration with finance and technical departments.

  • Continuously improve understanding of low voltage systems, Data cabling, Public Address, Access Control, IP Camera systems, AV systems through internal trainings and commercial materials available on the cloud.

  • Continuously improve ability to read and review RFPs and RFQs

  • Arrange technical team visits of sites to develop a SOW and BOM.

  • Developing and qualifying leads through numerous methods including social media queries, conducting marketing team visits of construction projects and estate builders, cold calling, networking and referral.

  • Maintaining and developing a wide network of contacts & building relationships within the Security Systems industry to ensure that ESCO is invited to as many bid opportunities as possible

  • Monthly SWOT analysis

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

  • Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales promotion cycle.

  • To provide periodic feedback on product performance, competition, products, marketing practices and customer satisfaction. Submit special reports regarding operation of the territory, product acceptance, and specifications, or competitive activity.

 

Job/Person Specification

 

  • Technical sales experience related to HVAC / BMS / Electric or Communications Work / Cabling systems or other low/high voltage systems.

  • Must be self motivated to set daily goals of client meetings and calls

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Public Administration.

  • Must be a self-starter.

  • Must be able to demonstrate performance record (3+ years) showing achievements of assigned targets.

  • Effective presentation skills along with strong verbal and written communication and the ability to state issues in a concise, solution driven manner.

  • Well-versed or willing to excel in the technology, equipment and methods related to low voltage systems, ideally for commercial projects.

  • A background in dealing with any of the following sectors; Commercial Construction, Infrastructure, Industrial, Defense or Government.

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently or within a team.
