JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and support
- Develop high-quality and scalable application logic with Apex and SOQL
- Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies.
- Develop custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrating salesforce.com with other systems
- Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
- Operate and leverage Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
Required Skills
- Certified Force.com Platform Developer I and Certified Force.com Platform Developer II Certification
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields
- Proven ability to independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation and updates as it relates to the SalesForce.com software and system administration for academic institutions
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
- Effective problem solver
- Commitment to excellence and high standards and the ability to thrive in a team environment
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience with technical implementations of SalesForce CRM Case Management System
- Experience with technologies that work with Salesforce.com including: Java, jscript, and Force.com platform
- Experience in moving code from sandboxes to production environment and address issues related to functionality and integration
- Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum is preferred
- Experience in setting up single sign on between systems
