We're looking for a Junior Data Engineer (Python) to join our team. You will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize data pipeline architecture
- Design modernized ETL through cloud based solutions
- Support infrastructure and database processes
- Add and improve logging and monitoring to current solutions
- Provide ad hoc queries and analysis as needed
- Write Python code for data ingestion or data processing at large scale
Requirements:
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science
- Experience with SQL, Python and ETL Pipeline
- 1-3 years of work experience in relevant field (Data Engineer, DW Engineer, Software Engineer, etc)
- Proficiency in Python and other major programming language (e.g. Java, C++, etc)
- Understanding of Linux
- Experience with data warehousing technologies is a plus
- AWS Redshift and/or Matilion experience is a plus
Personality:
- Should be able to work independently
- Must be detail-oriented and possess good communication skills
