We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain data science and analytics software products.
Your responsibilities include working with data scientists and developers, to write code for processing big data, analytics, streams, and testing code, debugging programs, and integrations with other services. To be successful in this role, you should have strong programming experience in Python, some Data Science/AI/ML exposure, and be able to work well in a team. You’ll build cutting-edge data-driven solutions in a large product.
Responsibilities
- Write effective, scalable Python code for data streaming applications
- Develop back-end components to process big data from a variety of sources, processing and refining it for machine learning
- Integrate internal and external data sources and pipelines to various services
- Test and debug programs
- Improve design of existing systems
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years or more work experience as a Python Developer
- Expertise in writing backend services, data collection, event processing, storage, and retrieval
- Knowledge of DB programming, object-relational mapping (ORM), and some NoSQL data stores
- Excellent communication skills
- Team spirit
- Good problem-solving skills
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
