Energietech Teknoloji is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in data center infrastructure, specifically focusing on Uptime Institute Tier Standards and EN50600 compliance. The ideal candidate will bring at least four years of experience designing mechanical systems that include cooling, ventilation, and fire suppression tailored for mission-critical facilities. This role demands precise coordination of mission-essential mechanical equipment within data centers, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with stringent industry standards. Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP is essential to deliver highly detailed mechanical room layouts and supporting documentation. The position involves working collaboratively with electrical and IT teams to integrate mechanical infrastructure harmoniously into overall data center architecture. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, the engineer will take ownership of mechanical system design from concept through to production-ready drawings and specifications. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs for data center projects aligned with Uptime Institute Tier and EN50600 infrastructure standards.
  • Plan, specify, and coordinate precision cooling systems including CRAC, CRAH, and InRow units to achieve optimal thermal management.
  • Design chiller and direct expansion (DX) cooling infrastructure, incorporating HVAC calculations to ensure adequate airflow and temperature control.
  • Create mechanical equipment layouts, mechanical room designs, and comprehensive piping and fluid system schematics.
  • Coordinate the mechanical aspects of fire suppression systems integrated within mission-critical facilities.
  • Produce accurate 3D CAD models and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP to support construction and installation efforts.
  • Prepare technical documentation and Bills of Quantity (BOQ) for mechanical systems to facilitate procurement and project execution.
  • Work closely with electrical engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant data center infrastructure standards including TIA-942, ASHRAE thermal guidelines, BICSI design best practices, and EN 50600 standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and review processes to validate design integrity and operational reliability.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables effectively to meet project milestones in both domestic and overseas execution environments.
