We are seeking a passionate php / WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and modifying WordPress themes and plugins, building pages using visual builders
This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
Responsibilities
- Building new wordpress websites using custom or existing themes / plugins
- Converting provided designs into Wordpress or html5 with all required backend functionality
- Building new plugins or themes or modify existing ones to match client's requirements
- Integrating 3rd party applications through API or through php coding.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Troubleshooting / Bug fixing of existing wordpress websites
Abilities
- Wordpress EXPERT
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Strong command on PHP backend development and experience of integrating custom coded scripts into wordpress website
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML and Wordpress pages using code and visual builders
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- knowlege of Joomla, woocommerce, magento, prestashop and shopify
- Pleasant personality and Excellent written and spoken English
