- Native or near native level proficiency with both English and Urdu.
- Understanding of the grammar and structuring of both languages and their differences.
- A thorough understanding that translations need to convey the context and meaning rather than a literal translations.
- Tenses, and nuances of the language involved with how different people and situations are addressed. Urdu tends to make a distinction between formal and informal way of addressing someone.
