Eplanet Global seeks a skilled AutoCAD 2D/3D Designer & Fiber Laser Operator with a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. This role involves creating precise 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD software and operating fiber laser cutting machines to fabricate components accurately. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical drawing capabilities, is adept at CAD file management, and can visualize complex designs in three dimensions to support the manufacturing process efficiently.
As an AutoCAD Designer and Fiber Laser Operator, the individual will be responsible for programming and controlling laser cutting machines, ensuring high-quality production output that meets design specifications. This position demands strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to maintaining safe and effective operation of machinery. Collaboration with production teams to optimize workflow and troubleshoot issues as they arise is essential, although the role does not include managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD software that meet project specifications and standards.
- Manage and organize CAD files ensuring proper version control and accessibility for team members.
- Program fiber laser cutting machines accurately based on CAD files and technical drawings.
- Operate fiber laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently to produce precision parts and components.
- Conduct quality checks on fabricated pieces to ensure conformance to design specifications.
- Interpret and clarify technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and production staff.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and laser cutting efficiency.
- Maintain the fiber laser cutting machinery, performing routine checks and minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated on advancements in AutoCAD software and laser cutting technology to improve work processes.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures related to laser operation and design activities.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance workflow and product quality based on operational experiences.
