RPA/Robotics Automation Developer – Job Description
The successful candidate will be given training on RPA development tools
Reporting to the Automation Development & Delivery Manager, this role is accountable for the design, build, maintenance and support of automated processes.
The successful candidate will deliver automated solutions that adhere to timelines and design, development and deployment best practices.
Design, develop and test complex Robotics Process Automation solutions using latest technology.
Employ agile development practices including test driven development and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration to improve overall execution speed and product quality.
Be a technology advocate and quick learner
Think through challenging and interesting problems and solve them with your team.
Design automated process solutions in accordance with standard design principles
Ensure business needs are understood and design solutions meet business requirements
Analyze and understand business processes to identify technical requirements
Create, review and maintain automated solution documentation.
Support existing automated processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process
Identify and address any issue that affects the integrity of the automated solution
Problem solve issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and provide timely solutions
Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages
Work within project planning constraints and communicate any identified project risks and issues
Identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness of IA processing

Computer Science Graduate
Knowledge of Software development
Knowledge of Robotic process automation
Knowledge of developing in Microsoft Technologies (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
Knowledge of creating and maintaining solution documentation
Knowledge of Restful APIs development
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in verbal and written English
