- Plans, schedules, and supervises new electrical installations, repairs and maintenance both by contract and force account.
- Plans, schedules, and supervises the work of Treatment Division maintenance personnel.
- Provides leadership as necessary.
- Provides minor assistance in mechanical repairs.
- Coordinates with superintendent for certain projects.
- Inspects electrical, motor/pump, and mechanical systems for operational stability and electrical soundness.
- Reviews the effectiveness of code requirements and code compliance for existing and planned electrical services, electrical control, telemetry, and motor/pump operating systems.
- Schedules and maintains the preventative maintenance program, and maintains maintenance and repair records.
- Plans, purchases, and programs the modifications and upgrade of electrical switch gear, electrical motor and mechanical equipment and supplies. Maintains parts and supply of spare parts as needed.
