2 & 3 Wheelers Vehicle Maintenance Manager

Eswap Technologies (Private) Limited is seeking a dedicated 2 & 3 Wheelers Vehicle Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance operations of our fleet. This role requires an experienced professional with at least five years of experience managing vehicle maintenance activities, specifically in 2 and 3 wheeler segments. The manager will be responsible for leading a team of five personnel, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, minimizing vehicle downtime, and maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in diagnostic tools, vendor management skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless vehicle operations and meet business usage demands. The Vehicle Maintenance Manager will plan and execute routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure timely corrective repairs for the companys fleet vehicles. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of industry norms, environmental regulations, and internal policies to guarantee compliance throughout all maintenance procedures. The candidate must exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork capabilities to foster effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for supervising workshop activities, assigning repair tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control to avoid rework or secondary failures.
Responsibilities

• Develop and implement routine preventive maintenance schedules for all 2 and 3 wheeler fleet vehicles to promote optimal performance and longevity.
• Plan and coordinate timely corrective repairs and fault troubleshooting to minimize vehicle downtime and maintain reliable fleet availability.
• Supervise daily workshop operations by assigning repair tasks efficiently, tracking maintenance progress, and ensuring the timely completion of all repair work.
• Lead and manage a team of five maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee the vehicle fault diagnosis process, conduct thorough repair quality inspections, and perform final acceptance checks to maintain stringent maintenance standards and prevent repetitive failures.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant industry norms, environmental protection regulations, and internal company policies to uphold operational integrity and legal compliance.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as logistics, operations, and procurement to align vehicle maintenance plans with business requirements and vehicle usage demands.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers by negotiating contracts, monitoring service quality, and ensuring timely procurement of parts and services.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports to track vehicle performance, repair history, and workshop efficiency for continuous improvement.
• Implement safety protocols and standards within the workshop environment to safeguard personnel and company assets.
• Monitor and control the maintenance budget by optimizing resource allocation and minimizing unnecessary expenditures without compromising quality.
• Continuously evaluate maintenance processes and recommend improvements to enhance fleet reliability and operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on advancements in automotive repair technologies and diagnostic tools to incorporate best practices in maintenance management.
• Address and resolve any maintenance-related issues or emergencies promptly to maintain uninterrupted vehicle operations.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by company leadership to contribute to the overall success of fleet management and company goals.
