We are seeking an experienced Executive Accountant to join our travel agency's back office accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including preparing financial reports, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for the company.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funding for the company's operations.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial institutions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Train and supervise accounting staff.
Requirements:
- ACCA or equivalent certification.
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, experience in the travel industry is plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
