- Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and finger sticks.
- Verification of patient by reading patient identification on office copy before procedure
- To assist patient & consultant during procedure and help them for reports typing etc
- To guide the patients about the procedures and their requirements
- Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following lab policies and procedures.
- Maintains quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule; recording results in the quality-control log; identifying and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Maintain Inventory of section area
- Provide assistance to the patients visiting the lab
- Provide relevant information to patients in time
- Any other task assigned by the concerned Operational head
