Fitters Custom Sportswear is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sportswear Designer to join our dynamic team in Lahore. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of designing high-quality athletic apparel and demonstrates expertise working with established sportswear brands. This role is strictly office-based and requires the candidate to be located in Lahore, Pakistan. Through creativity, trend awareness, and advanced design capabilities, this designer will help produce innovative sportswear that meets high industry standards while collaborating effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.
The designer must possess strong technical proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW, coupled with an in-depth understanding of textile properties and 3D draping techniques. This position focuses on generating creative and professional-grade designs for sportswear and athletic apparel, emphasizing quality and usability. The role demands attention to detail, a flair for trend analysis, and a commitment to excellence in producing design solutions that align with brand goals within a fast-paced, office setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and high-quality sportswear designs aligned with current industry trends and brand guidelines.
- Utilize industry-standard design software including Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW to create detailed technical artwork and illustrations.
- Demonstrate expertise in textile selection and 3D draping to ensure designs are both functional and visually appealing.
- Conduct thorough trend analysis to innovate and refresh the product line with contemporary athletic apparel concepts.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development and marketing to ensure designs meet performance and aesthetic standards.
- Prepare detailed design presentations and technical packs to communicate concepts effectively to production and manufacturing teams.
- Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and quality standards, managing multiple design tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Continuously update knowledge on new fabrics, technology, and techniques in sportswear design to elevate the brands product offering.
- Review and refine designs based on feedback to improve usability, comfort, and market appeal of sportswear products.
- Ensure all designs comply with company policies and industry regulations regarding quality and safety standards.
