Expert Business Control (HQ)

This position at Jazz focuses on Expert Business Control within the Headquarters, primarily supporting and occasionally managing budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and reporting cycles for HQ entities. The role encompasses various business controlling activities such as month-end closing, managerial reporting through the HQ dashboard tool (Pulse), and conducting comprehensive financial analyses including balance sheet, cash flow, and project expenditures. The incumbent will prepare business commentaries on a weekly to annual basis to evaluate performance against budgets and forecasts, perform SOX controls, and assist audit teams. Additionally, the role involves overseeing HQ Business Travel activities to ensure compliance with travel policies and verifying traveler profiles against HR records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage management reporting by reviewing receipting processes, preparing accruals and corrections, and coordinating with Record to Report (R2R) teams for accurate recording.
- Prepare Monthly Flash Reports, Weekly Reporting, and Monthly Actuals Reports, accompanied by detailed commentaries analyzing project expenditures, profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow compared to prior year, budget, and forecasts.
- Ensure consistency of HQ dashboards (Pulse) with FCCS/PBCS data and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and prepare quarterly management certificates for HQ entities.
- Generate SOX control reports required by auditors on a semi-annual and annual basis.
- Collaborate with the HQ Director Finance & Administration to establish internal timelines for forecasting and business planning exercises.
- Support and prepare forecast templates, consolidate inputs, perform sanity checks, and develop a driver-based consolidated forecast model covering profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Coordinate business commentaries for forecasts, including working capital, below EBITDA items, and recharges.
- Submit finalized forecast inputs in PBCS and share results with HQ functions after cycle closure.
- Lead the development and integration of new dashboards into the HQ Pulse tool to enhance operational visibility and financial reporting.
- Support recharge accrual, recognition processes, and receivable management, facilitating communication between HQ functional owners and cost centers.

Required Qualifications

- Qualified professional with experience in Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and reporting, preferably within the telecom sector.
- In-depth knowledge of FP&A, management reporting, business controlling, and month-end closing activities.
- Strong and current understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Good grasp of Source to Pay and Record to Report processes.
- Proficiency with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Oracle Fusion, and Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Expertise in financial modeling and accounting/reporting system enhancements.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability.
