This role at Jazz, based in Islamabad, presents an exciting opportunity to join the Expert Business Control (HQ) team. The position focuses on managing budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and reporting cycles for HQ entities. It involves supporting business controlling activities, month-end closing, and managerial reporting through the HQ dashboard tool (Pulse). The role also includes conducting various financial analyses and overseeing HQ business travel compliance and traveler profile verification. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential to ensure accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review receipting processes, prepare accruals and corrections in coordination with HQ functions, and liaise with Record to Report (R2R) teams to ensure accurate recording. Prepare and analyze Monthly Flash Reports, Weekly Reporting, and Monthly Actuals Reports, providing detailed commentaries on project expenditures, profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow compared to prior year, budget, and forecasts. Ensure consistency and accuracy of HQ dashboards (Pulse) with FCCS/PBCS data, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and prepare quarterly management certificates for HQ entities. Prepare SOX control reports biannually and annually to support internal and external audit processes. Collaborate with the HQ Director Finance & Administration to establish timelines for forecasting and business planning exercises. Support and prepare forecast templates, consolidate inputs, perform sanity checks, and develop a driver-based consolidated forecast model covering profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Coordinate business commentaries for forecasts, including working capital, below EBITDA, and recharge financials, and submit finalized inputs through PBCS. Lead the development and integration of new dashboards into the HQ Pulse tool to enhance operational visibility and financial reporting. Support recharge accrual, recognition processes, and receivable management between HQ functional owners and cost centers. Drive continuous improvement of accounting and reporting systems, ensuring data enrichment and timely availability of financial information.
Required Qualifications
Qualified professional with proven experience in Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and reporting, preferably within the telecom sector. In-depth knowledge of FP&A, management reporting, business controlling, and month-end closing activities. Strong and current understanding of IFRS and accounting principles. Good knowledge of Source to Pay and Record to Report operations. Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Oracle Fusion, and Oracle EPM Cloud. Expertise in financial modeling and accounting/reporting system enhancements. Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
