Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage UAE-based general ledger accounts specific to real estate transactions and operations ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and present detailed financial statements and reports compliant with UAE accounting standards and real estate industry requirements.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage VAT filing processes ensuring compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations and deadlines.
- Handle corporate tax filing in accordance with the relevant legal requirements within the UAE jurisdiction.
- Conduct thorough financial reporting tailored to the specific needs of a real estate company, providing insights for business decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax assessments to ensure smooth and compliant financial processes.
- Support the finance department in month-end and year-end closing activities to produce accurate financial records.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and contribute to the improvement of accounting policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and tax laws related to the real estate sector and apply them proactively.
