Expert Product QR & Card Acceptance JazzCash

We are looking for an experienced Product professional with expertise in QR and Card Acceptance to join our team in Islamabad. This role is centered on leading the development and growth of payment acceptance solutions specifically designed for Pakistan’s retail and offline markets. The ideal candidate will drive strategic partnerships to enhance payment offerings and innovate internal solutions that strengthen JazzCash’s position in QR and card acceptance. This position demands a proactive product management approach, effective collaboration across teams, and a deep understanding of the fintech payment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop innovative QR and card acceptance solutions by utilizing market insights and international best practices.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to design diverse payment use cases across USSD, mobile applications, and online platforms.
- Conceptualize and develop future-ready QR and card acceptance products aligned with the company’s long-term strategic vision.
- Prepare detailed product requirements for technology teams and devise go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing.
- Lead comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure all solutions meet quality and functionality standards before launch.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to guarantee timely completion of project milestones.
- Engage with local and international payment schemes and service providers to enable seamless retail payments both online and offline.
- Analyze merchant behavior and collaborate with relevant teams to enhance the merchant acquiring experience, positioning JazzCash as the preferred acquirer.
- Manage insights and reporting related to all QR and card acceptance products developed.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of direct experience in product management or development within the fintech sector, specifically involving payment schemes such as Mastercard, Visa, Roam (P2M), or similar platforms.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in designing, implementing, or managing QR and card acceptance solutions, including QR code payments, POS systems, Payment Gateways, Open-loop/Closed-loop systems, and Acquiring setups, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, Tableau, and Trello for project management, data analysis, and visualization related to payment products.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively collaborate with scheme providers, financial institutions, and internal teams.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, consistently driving successful outcomes in the payments domain.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
