Expert Product QR & Card Acceptance JazzCash

We are looking for an experienced Product professional with expertise in QR and Card Acceptance to join our team in Islamabad. In this role, you will lead the development and growth of payment acceptance solutions specifically designed for Pakistan’s retail and offline markets. Your primary focus will be on identifying strategic partnerships and driving innovation in-house to enhance JazzCash’s capabilities in QR and card payment acceptance. This position demands a forward-thinking approach to product innovation, ensuring seamless payment experiences across both online and offline retail channels while aligning with the company’s long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop innovative QR and card acceptance solutions by leveraging market insights and international best practices.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to design diverse payment use cases across USSD, mobile applications, and online platforms.
- Conceptualize and design future-ready QR and card acceptance products that support organizational goals.
- Prepare detailed product requirements for technology teams and devise go-to-market strategies in coordination with marketing departments.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solution quality before launch.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Engage with local and international payment schemes and service providers to enable smooth retail payment processes.
- Analyze merchant behavior and collaborate with relevant teams to improve the merchant acquiring experience, positioning JazzCash as the preferred acquirer.
- Manage insights and reporting related to all QR and card acceptance solutions developed.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management or product development within the fintech sector, with specific exposure to payment schemes such as Mastercard, Visa, Roam (P2M), or similar.
- Strong expertise in designing, implementing, or managing QR and card acceptance solutions, including QR code payments, POS systems, payment gateways, open-loop/closed-loop systems, and acquiring setups. Proven track record of successful project delivery is essential.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, Tableau, and Trello for project management, data analysis, and visualization in payment contexts.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with scheme providers, financial institutions, and internal teams.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive payment projects to success.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
