Fashion Designer

We are looking to hire a Men's Fashion Designer with extensive knowledge and flair to capture and envision the latest trends for our customized and ready to wear collection. The candidate should have a natural interest in fashion and be enthusiastic about keeping an eye on high street trends, reading fashion magazine and fashion blogs to stay up to date with the latest styles. The role will require the candidate to travel to shows, spot trends and interpret specific color palettes, materials, patterns and prints for each season.

You will sketch your designs by hand and create technical production drawings.

Our Target Audience is: Eastern and Western

Responsibilities:

· Making sketches by hand & as well as digitized versions

· Developing patterns

· Overseeing production

· Analyzing trends in fabrics, colors and shapes

· Selecting and buying fabrics and trims

· Adapting existing designs for mass production

· Supervising the creation of sample garments

· Producing concepts

· Quality control

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree OR Fashion degree/Diploma in design or fine arts and a college level degree in fashion design or related field.

· 3+ years of experience (flexible)

· Availability to travel for research and product development

· Excellent communication skills
