Faisal Movers is seeking a skilled and responsible Driver with a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV), Light Transport Vehicle (LTV), and Passenger Service Vehicle (PSV) licence. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of driving experience and a strong understanding of traffic rules and road safety protocols. This role requires excellent time management skills, punctuality, and the ability to provide safe, comfortable transportation for passengers. Candidates should be responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing basic upkeep to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in passenger transport, ensuring that passengers receive professional and courteous service throughout the journey.
The position focuses on safe and timely transportation, adherence to assigned routes and schedules, and strict compliance with company safety regulations and procedures. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it demands a high level of personal accountability and the ability to effectively communicate any vehicle issues to maintenance personnel. The Driver plays a critical role in supporting Faisal Movers commitment to safe and reliable passenger transport services, maintaining proper records, and contributing to a positive travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers and staff safely to designated locations in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Operate vehicles with HTV, LTV, and PSV licences while maintaining strict adherence to passenger safety standards.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure punctual arrivals and departures as per scheduled routes and timetables.
- Follow assigned routes diligently and seek approval before altering routes to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and carry out basic upkeep for operational readiness.
- Monitor and record fuel consumption, mileage, and any maintenance activities in accurate vehicle logs.
- Report any mechanical malfunctions or other issues promptly to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
- Comply with all company standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor while interacting with passengers and staff to ensure an excellent service experience.
- Stay up to date with traffic regulations, road safety rules, and company policies to minimize risks and enhance service reliability.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Keep clear and organized documentation related to trips, vehicle maintenance, and incidents as required by the company.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines related to passenger transport to help prevent accidents and incidents.
- Participate in any training sessions or refresher courses to continuously improve driving skills and safety awareness.
