This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities to maintain high service standards, address customer complaints effectively, and improve operational processes. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools is essential to track and analyze operational performance.
The position involves managing multiple operational challenges with a focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance. Although this role does not currently involve team management, the candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations. Prior experience in the transport or bus industry will offer a significant advantage in understanding specific operational demands unique to this sector.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage terminal operations to ensure timely and efficient logistics flow.
- Plan and schedule workflow to optimize resource allocation and meet operational targets.
- Conduct operational reporting to monitor performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and safety standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements at all times.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and lead service recovery efforts to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with different departments and external partners to resolve operational challenges and streamline processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation and records related to operations, compliance, and reporting activities.
- Utilize MS Office and other reporting tools to analyze data, prepare reports, and support decision-making.
- Apply problem-solving skills to manage pressure situations and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Support supervisory activities and coordinate with staff to ensure alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
