- Perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities.
- Must have knowledge of payroll processing in general.
- Computing wage and overtime payments.
- Calculating and record payroll deductions.
- Process requests for paycheck advances.
- Able to use GP (Microsoft Great Plains) software to integrate payroll hours.
- Process New hires, status changes, transfers, terminations in GP.
- Must have analytical skills and must be detail orientated.
- Must know how to complete Vlookups and Pivot tables in Excel.
- Prepare the payroll file from start to finish.
- Work well in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Ability to draft all correspondence pertaining to the department.
- Proficient in Word and, Excel, Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
