Fast Cables Limited is seeking an experienced ESG & Sustainability Lead to spearhead the company's environmental, social, and governance initiatives. This role involves developing and managing impactful sustainability strategies and corporate social responsibility projects that align with the company's mission and values. The ideal candidate holds a BSc in Environmental Engineering and brings 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a large organizational setting. Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and sustainability principles is essential to ensure the implementation of best practices and compliance with industry standards.
The ESG & Sustainability Lead drives the execution of corporate sustainability goals through close collaboration with internal teams and external partners. This position requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively represent the company's sustainability efforts and maintain a consistent corporate image. Although this role does not include direct team management responsibilities, the candidate must lead multi-stakeholder projects with clear accountability and influence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with company objectives and industry standards.
- Lead corporate social responsibility initiatives, ensuring successful planning, execution, and impact measurement.
- Manage sustainability programs by coordinating with various departments and external partners to achieve defined goals.
- Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, preparing thorough reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all corporate communications related to sustainability convey a consistent and positive brand image.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to integrate sustainability criteria into business processes.
- Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve company initiatives.
- Promote awareness and engagement in sustainability efforts across the organization through workshops and training.
- Conduct risk assessments related to environmental, social, and governance factors to inform strategic decisions.
- Support the preparation of disclosure and compliance documentation required by regulatory bodies and investors.
