Ensure compliance of ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001 and 14001.
Have hands on experience of clearing SEDEX and ISO audits and its
implementation.
Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the
general operation of the Environmental Health and Safety Program and its
related activities and, with the support of Senior Management, ensures
practices are followed.
Monitors safety policies, procedures and practices to ensure alignment with
current government regulations; identify impact (both monetary and nonmonetary)
of
required
changes
and
develop
response
strategies.
Investigates, documents and reports (as needed) all accidents, injuries,
illnesses, and unusual events, specially identifying hazardous and moving
parts unsecured.
Provides leadership and oversight to company safety team and workers.
Conducts periodic and scheduled internal inspections and host external
inspections.
Partners with operating divisions, ensuring a collaborative approach to
positively influence safety requirements and best practices within the
organization.
Maintain records in compliance with all company, industry, and regulatory
requirements.
Schedules and facilitates occupational safety, environment safety training.
Conduct 1122 trainings, fire drills on frequent basis.
Provides guidance to stakeholders when specific compliance issues arise and
facilitates communications with external resources.
Conduct all environment test as required by the authorities.
Monitor and lead teams on premises and surprise checks work areas abiding
safety SOP.
Conduct awareness trainings at site to workers when necessary.
