Sindh Community Foundation (SCF), a reputable NGO based in Hyderabad, Sindh, is seeking a dedicated Field Officer for Cash-Based Transfers (CBT) to support its mission of empowering marginalized communities. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Project Manager to implement, monitor, and report on cash transfer programs aimed at providing financial assistance to vulnerable groups. This position involves close coordination in the field, beneficiary verification, oversight of cash distributions, and strict compliance with organizational and donor guidelines to ensure transparent and effective program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation:
Support the planning and execution of cash transfer activities within designated communities. Carry out beneficiary identification and registration processes, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection. Supervise cash distribution to guarantee transparency and accountability. Ensure all activities align with SCF policies and donor requirements.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Conduct regular monitoring of cash transfer operations to ensure they meet project objectives. Perform field visits to assess the impact on beneficiaries and gather relevant data. Analyze beneficiary feedback and other information to evaluate program outcomes. Prepare comprehensive progress reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Engage with local authorities, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of the program. Participate actively in community meetings to communicate program goals and procedures. Foster positive relationships with beneficiaries and community members to support program success.
Capacity Building:
Provide training and ongoing support to community volunteers and staff involved in cash transfer activities. Encourage knowledge sharing and enhance the skills of the project team and community participants. Identify capacity gaps and work to address them to improve program effectiveness.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all cash transfer activities comply with SCF’s policies, donor requirements, and applicable legal frameworks. Identify potential risks related to program implementation and develop mitigation strategies. Address and resolve any issues promptly to maintain program integrity.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences is mandatory. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant experience working within the NGO sector, preferably with exposure to cash-based transfer programs or similar humanitarian initiatives.

All staff members are required to sign these policies as part of their employment agreement. Non-compliance may lead to disciplinary measures, including termination.
