We are looking for a Senior Software Developer - Team Lead, who will be responsible to:
- Develop new functionality on our existing software products.
- Prior experience of working in a Team Lead role.
- Utilize web technologies to develop and build out the customer / backend facing web applications
- Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule as a Team Lead, with the capability of providing guidance and mentorship to other team members.
- Work within a small team of individuals to create technical solutions
- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand what can be done or what needs to be changed
- Create solutions, specifically high end application architectures and solutions
- Work between various teams within the Development and IT departments
- All other responsibilities as assigned
The chosen individual will work out of the Fifosoft Karachi office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Desired Skills and Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering / Computer Sciences or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience of developing web applications.
- Strong experience of ASP.NET, (ASP.NET/ .NET Core) MVC (3.0, 4.0 and 5.0+), ASP.NET Web API, WCF, WPF
- Strong experience of SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014+ with ADO.NET and/or Entity Framework
- Thorough understanding of Enterprise level Architecture Design principles, patterns and standards
- Knowledge and experience of working in agile development methodologies including SCRUM
- Version Control and ALM/Project/Work Management solutions
- Software testing (Functional, Performance, and Unit Testing) is must.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Able to follow detailed written instructions.
- Knowledge and experience in Dev, QA, Production enviroment deployment.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Prior experience in SharePoint or banking-based applications will be preferred.
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, Procedural and RESTful service design, versioning, and management
