Taskaler, a prominent offshore outsourcing company specializing in retail-driven services, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team in Model Town, Lahore. The company delivers comprehensive retail and eCommerce solutions, including customer experience, back office, and digital support, with a strong focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in managing daily finance operations and supporting client reporting. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the finance inbox daily, ensuring all emails are acknowledged and addressed promptly. Respond professionally to finance-related queries from both internal teams and external stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary.
- Prepare, review, and issue B2B sales invoices weekly for all business entities. Ensure invoices are accurate, comply with company policies, and align with customer agreements. Maintain proper records and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any discrepancies.
- Allocate customer bank receipts daily in Xero for all entities, including GCR, GUI, and Bottleshot. Verify transaction details to ensure payments are correctly matched with invoices, keep records updated, and report any variances or unidentified payments to the Finance Manager.
- Support the onboarding process for new B2B customers by collecting and verifying customer details, ensuring all compliance documentation is complete, and coordinating with Sales and Operations teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
- Conduct periodic account reconciliations to maintain financial data accuracy. Review supplier and customer statements, resolve discrepancies promptly, and assist with financial reporting and month-end closing activities as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar accounting role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA certification.
- Proficiency in Xero or comparable accounting software.
- Strong skills in Excel and data management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and business entities.
