An international research organization seeks experienced professionals for an anticipated USAID funded two-year project on Girls’ education in Pakistan.
The Finance and Grants Manager will be responsible for overall technical and administrative leadership in the areas of financial and grants management for the project and will work collaboratively to ensure compliance with organization’s internal policies and procedures as well as donor regulations.
Essential Duties:
The Finance and Grants Manager shall be dedicated to the project full-time. S/he will provide overall technical and administrative leadership in the areas of financial management and grants management for the project. General responsibilities will include accounts payable, cost allocation, quarterly reporting, payroll, budget preparation, grants management, and tracking support. In addition, the Manager will be responsible for setting up, managing, and providing technical assistance related to the grant-making component of the project activity. S/he will ensure that all financial and grants management and reporting are compliant with USAID grants management and financial management regulations.
Qualifications, knowledge and skills:
- A Master’s Degree in Finance, Public Administration, or another relevant field;
- Five years of experience in Financial Management and post-graduate qualifications in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or Accounting;
- Prior knowledge of donor regulations (in particularly USAID);
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, leadership, creative problem-solving, and ethical management;
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- High level of integrity and commitment to professional responsibilities
