Broader Perspective:
Overall effective management of store/showroom with reference to customer queries/sales, stock and staff.
Detailed Description:
- Ensure smooth operations of store/showroom on a daily basis.
- Ensure achievement of targets as set by the Line Manager.
- Ensure availability of fast-moving stock on floor and propose remedial plans for slow-moving/aged stock.
- Handle customer queries on all stages (pre-sales, sales, post-sales)
- Monitoring & training of sales staff on regular basis on Customer Servicing and Selling Skills
- Management of sales staff and routing of customers to specific sections/floors based on their needs.
- Ensure Visual Merchandising as per best-practices and as per the directives of Management
- Placement/handling of seasonal marketing collateral (product catalogs, posters, flyers etc.) in accordance with the Company policy.
- Generation/presentation of sales reports, staff-progress management reports etc. to the Management
- Cash management and ensuring daily re-conciliation is done with Finance department.
- Any other task as assigned by the Management.
