Scope:    This position is suited for someone with demonstrable experience or passion in demystifying data into actionable insights. The position is critical in the journey of establishing the delivery capability of Dastak as a premium Fintech Advisory and Market Acceleration program.  

The 30,60, 90 day tasks include:  

1.  Collect, Organize and Present the market data and insights targeting financial inclusion agenda the baseline Startup Vice/Scale Up Vice Delivery for Pakistan

2.  Build the central source of truth for company information

3. In-depth review of financial inclusion numbers across retail and small medium enterprise segments 4. Open Banking Framework and progression

5. Digital Banking, EMI, NBFC, TPSP licensing requirements

6. Industry Insights for Payments, Lending and Wealth Management and status of market/regulatory governance insights    

MENAPT Market Scan for State of Financial Inclusion across 12 markets

a. Public Policy on Financial Inclusion

b. Country Goals, Implementation Infrastructure, Review Frequency, Review Board

c. Impact on International Donors and financial assistance in support to achieve the goals

d. Development analysis of the fintech regulatory landscape, current fintech footprint, fintech association linkages

e. Open Banking traction as a solution for inclusion and state of licensing in the country

f. Pakistan- Target Market International Relations around manpower, skill development and financial service linkages (business and citizen money transfers/cross border trade)

Requirements  

Academic background

  • Social science, economics or account & finance(16 year education preferred)
  • CFA 1 (preferred)
