Job Summary

This position is for an innovative, entrepreneurial, high-energy, technology savvy individual that possesses knowledge and practical experience of financial product development and service delivery in the digital space.

This is a leadership role that is responsible for leading the development, coordination and execution of the strategy for digital banking group, including the monitoring of high priority projects across business verticals. The position will work with the Head of digital money and financial inclusion to proactively de-risk the business and build an efficient and fast paced work culture in the team. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Help shape the strategy, develop associated action plans and measure the outcomes.
  • Acting as internal PMO, lead key project prioritisation, resource allocation and tracking.
  • Lead optimization and re-engineering of internal processes and workflows, across verticals, to deliver the best customer experience for existing and new products and services launches.
  • Develop and maintain a risk register for the business lines, and track the implementation of mitigation plans.
  • Work with the Head of digital money and financial inclusion to track key metrics for the business lines, and align outcomes with targets as agreed with senior management.
  • Work with the Head of digital money and financial inclusion to develop the best in industry team and work culture 7. Act as an internal consultant for the organisation on strategy and performance management.

Experience

Candidate must have

  • At least 10 years of experience, with a focus on development and deployment of digital products and services.
  • Experience of having worked in a FinTech, or in digital financial services.
  • A background in project management. A certification such as PMP, Prince is an advantage but not necessary.
  • A background in consulting is a plus.
