The Head of Products plays a key role for FINJA (PVT) LTD, driving strategy with responsibility for the continued development and improvement of the company’s product offerings and other key services. Success in this role requires full understanding of our products and services, as well as its users and business stakeholders. The Head of Products sits at the intersection of FINJA's internal constituencies, clients, consumers and competitors, gathering insights and needs and articulating these requirements into well-defined specifications for products and features development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy for FINJA products and services, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to define the product vision and strategy, roadmap and priorities, and plan for achieving continued product growth to meet the needs of current and future users.
- Be a subject matter expert on the market, the product and the competition. Identify the whitespace. Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company.
- Lead product team, and oversee the product development process, including conceptualization, prioritization, design and specification, sprint grooming, and launch.
- Build relationships across sales, marketing, account management, clinical, engagement, and operations teams and lead stakeholders toward successful launch.
- Cooperate with Marketing to design Market Research to capture the appropriate amount of information to drive our product strategy
- Follow-up on product features to make sure stakeholders’ expectations are met and the product is being used as intended.
- Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features.
- Define and monitor metrics to assess product success.
Experience:
- 5-15 years of total experience
- 2-4 years experience leading technology-based product strategy.
- 4-8 years of technology-based product/project management experience, preferably both at a hands-on and managerial level.
- Experience managing project teams (using project metrics), and a proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders of varying technical sophistication.
- Track record of strong collaboration with engineering teams.
- Engineering / programming background (CS degree or work experience) is a plus.
Competencies:
- A demonstrated ability to partner with teams across the organization and influence to achieve business results
- Understanding of the processes involved with developing web and mobile-based applications and ability to reasonably estimate the work involved with different stages of development.
- Deep understanding of UI / UX and how end users will interact with technical systems
- Highly self-motivated and eager to work in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.
