React Developer

FINJA is looking to recruit highly skilled and passionate software engineer (React Developer). As the frontend developer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend architecture for the product from start to finish

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

· At least 1 year of experience in a frontend development role

· 1+ years of experience in working with React

· Excellent command on HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript libraries such as JQuery

· Experience consuming RESTful APIs

· Hands on experience building responsive layouts

· Excellent command of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues and ways to work around them

· Good understanding of Bootstrap

· Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

· Proficient understanding of Git version control system

· Self-driven and always looking to improve

Responsibilities:

· Develop the whole frontend of the product

· Write clean and well commented code

· Document all development work done with referencing in code

· Work coherently with the designer and the backend developer

· Ensure best software practices are followed

· Apply new technologies to further improve the functionality

· Interact with the Project Manager frequently and provide feedback on progress, alert him of any risks, and help develop a strategy to mitigate these risks

Good to Have:

· A web app to show which you have designed and developed

· An eye for aesthetics

· Understanding of SEO principles

· Basic understanding of Python

· Proficiency in using tools such as Photoshop

· Experience working with agile development

· Experience working in a Linux based environment

· Experience of working at a startup or a fintech

· Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem in Pakistan

· Decent communication skills

· Immediate availability
