We are looking for data engineer with one year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- design and implement scalable and robust docker stacks for ingesting and transforming data of different type from different sources
- Recommend and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
- Support the deployment of docker setups.
- Working closely with stakeholders to ensure high standards of data governance during implementation
- Serve as technical subject matter expert in latest big data technologies.
- Must be able to perform data visualisation on data.
Requirements
- Hands on scrapping experience with Python libraries i.e. scrapy, bs4, selenium etc.
- Should be able to create tasks, dags with Apache airflow
- Should have experience of data wrangling with Apache Spark
- Should have good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling
- Should be able to identify data patterns and write regular expressions
- Experience of Hadoop ecosystem (map-reduce, HDFS, Apache Hive) would be a big plus
