Job Description

  • Lead inspections agenda to prepare for AIB audit of Frito-Lay as well as Co-Manufacturing facilities
  • Development  and updating HACCP programme  by driving  site HACCP team covering new processes, lines, products and all other changes
  • Ensure implementation of PepsiCo Food safety standards (CRP standard and AIB inspection) at Frito-Lay plant as well as Co- manufacturing and storage facilities
  • Lead inspections agenda at Frito-Lay plant as well as Co- manufacturing and storage facilities against standards and ensure execution of action plan
  • Lead food safety capability development through effective training program including from induction to expert level food safety trainings for all functions as well as third party facilities
  • Coordinate with R & D and plant team regarding risk identification, assessment and lead for the execution of their controls regarding new launches
  • Lead food safety and food defense risk assessments of operations and ensure review and update in case of any change to address the right time controls on risk
  • Develop and implement PepsiCo crisis management protocol effectively ensuring product recall within 12 hours during annual dummy recalls programs for Pakistan Foods
  • Ensure development and compliance of MOH for food safety program and develop CAPEX based projects
  • Drive compliance system against  food safety AOP and ensure implementation of new developments and projects
  • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure implementation of action plan for market complaints related to food safety

Knowledge/Skill

  • Master/ Bachelor Degree in Food Technology
  • Good knowledge of material testing and quality assessment
  • Knowledge of quality and food safety standards (preferably lead auditor)
