Job responsibilities are:
- Design test plans, scripts, scenarios and procedures.
- Experience tools like Jira, Jenkins, Selenium, Appium, robotium, eclipse studio, Git, Bitbucket and, test management suites.
- Test new product features as part of our user story-driven, Agile/Scrum software development process.
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation process.
- Develop testing programs that address areas like software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability etc.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen and content.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts track successes regularly.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates.
- Review software documentation to make sure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness or to mitigate risks.
- Investigate customer problems referred by technical support with customer support tracking tool; JIRA etc.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to developers on software usability functionality.
- Conduct software compatibility tests with hardware, programs, operating systems and network environments.
- Collaborate with other teams or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions.Identify program deviance from standards, and suggest area of improvements to make sure compliance.Design or develop automated testing environment.
- Conduct historical analyses of test resultsJuggling multiple work tasks and overseeing several software projects at a time.
- Acts as a point of contact for inter and intra departmental interaction.Assist in backlog grooming for current and upcoming development sprints.
