We’re looking for a highly-driven and motivated Head of Business Development for our team in Pakistan. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have a direct impact, then this may be the place for you!
The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with the management team. This role will be based in Pakistan and will report to the Commercial Director.
About the job:
As Head of Business Development , you will be responsible for expansion into new cities, while running the day to day operations for your specific vertical:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategically planning and managing the expansion of foodpanda footprint across Pakistan.
- Build short term and long term strategy for expansion, Identify and analyze opportunities for expansion of foodpanda.
- Ensure smooth execution and launch of the city and meet goals before handing over the city to HoS & HoAM.
- Manage and develop a team of talented Expansion Associates.
- Be both data-sensitive and sales-minded
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of the foodpanda business model and the online food ordering market.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
- Has an acute sense of responsibility and can take full ownership of the function.
- You have at least 5+ years of work experience in a similar role
- You are process-oriented and data-driven
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google equivalents
- Your knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector is solid
- You are driven and ambitious.
- You are very proactive and could lead independent projects.
- Has the ability to perform root cause analysis and build process flows.
- You’re very detail oriented and pay attention to all the steps in the process.
