- Maintaining high standards of hygiene & cleanliness and health and safety. Schedule general cleaning of kitchen at least once a week.
- Overseeing the order and cleanliness of the kitchen to avoid health and safety violations that could involve the restaurant in a lawsuit or penalty.
- Maintaining & monitoring food presentation and service.
- Ensure smooth opening & closing of Kitchen. All the activities of opening & closing shall be performed daily without missing anything.
- Identifying underperforming individuals or departments and then creating and executing plans to improve performance of those.
- Supervising the entire operation of the kitchen during scheduled shifts and preparing shift closing reports.
- Ensuring that all employees act in accordance with the rules & regulations of the FOODS INN and if anyone is found in breach of those rules & regulations, appropriate disciplinary action is taken.
- Performing general inventory count of all items every 30 days.
- Coordinating with the service departments (Dining, Delivery) to ensure efficient service.
- Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
- Manage all the Employees and ensure all the Employees are present on time in proper dress code with hygienic appearance.
- Signing and acknowledging all the item cancellation slips.
- Food preparation time of any order shall not exceed 15 minutes.
