- To assist the management in the development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives of the company and develop strategy & mechanism for its achievement and continuous evaluation of the process.
- Developing organizational future prospects in respect to economic trends and generate revenue opportunities, projecting expansion plans, analyzing & achieving efficiency in financial operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement
- Responsible to prepare Power Purchase Agreements, drafting its terms & conditions in consultation with COO, Managing Project Costing & Modeling and prepare financial models for their evaluation.
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting & budgeting Communicate, engage and interact with Board of Directors, CEO, COO and Executive Leadership Team.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Contracts Management, Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
- Deal with government and regulatory authorities regarding various matters and ensure effective internal controls are in place for compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Responsible for convening and servicing periodic meetings and ensuring corporate compliance.
- Management & preparation of all financial reports. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports / statements.
- Ensure the maintenance of company's books of account and the preparation of periodic financial statements.
- Handling Tax matters of the company incompliance with Taxation Law & Regulations.
- Co-ordinate and Liaison with Banks and insurance companies for the insurance coverage in respect assets of the company.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislations.
Educational & Experience Requirement:
- For CA qualified – Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in the Power Sector preferably in Alternate Energy (Solar Energy).
- For ACCA qualified – Articleship with reputable firm with minimum post qualification experience of 4 – 5 years in Power Sector preferably in Alternate Energy (Solar Energy).
Required Job Skills:
- Having adequate knowledge of Auditing of Power Companies / IPPs.
- Proficient in excel for preparing financial models and Project costing.
- Forecasting & Budgeting
- Able to analyze & anticipate financial & associated risks / factors influencing business performance.
- Supervise all financial, general accounting and reporting activities.
- Having excellent communications & analytical skills.
- Preferably having command on MS Power BI for project execution.
- Able to maintain good liaison with tax authorities, banks, SECP & other regulatory bodies.
