JD & Expertise Requirements:
- Prototype development in Tableau. Qlikview and Microsoft Bi will be plus
- Leverage full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations
- Analyze existing complex systems to understand and document data elements, relationships, data flow, dependencies and related interfaces
- Responsible for data ETL extract/transform/load processes across all internal and external commercial data sources
- Maintain data warehouse and operational databases in MS SQL Server / Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c
- Consult with internal customers (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Trade) to develop analysis that lead to actionable that accelerate profitable growth
- Define and deliver key performance metrics and design reports/dashboards using the BI Platform to provide insights into business unit performance on an ongoing basis
- Understand businesses and their data to aid in the development of efficient data modeling
- Strong collaboration, communication and people skills are a must
- Gather customer business and technical requirements and write high-quality technical documents
- Participate in a wide variety of business intelligence efforts, including the development and support of internal applications and helping to administer the Tableau infrastructure
- Support multi environment Tableau infrastructure including server security, troubleshooting and general system maintenance
- Developing, designing and supporting interactive Tableau dashboard reports
- Recommending dashboards per Tableau visualization features
- Minimum of 3 years hands on experience developing either on Tableau dashboards using complex relational and multi-dimensional data sources. Qlikview Or Microsoft Power BI will be plus
- End-to-End on Tableau dashboards Designer expertise from data model publication, interactive dashboard design/development to deployment/maintenance. Hands-on skills with use of action filters, user filters, advanced navigation techniques, Level-of-Detail (LOD) expressions.
- Advanced Tableau development experience including Tableau data model creation, customize dimensions, advanced calculations, and interactive dashboards.
- Experience tuning the performance of Tableau Server dashboards to minimize the data and rendering refresh cycles and optimize the end user experience
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and passion about data, visualization and solving business problems
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts along with knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle 10g, 11g & 12c to write complex, highly-optimized queries across large volumes of data
- Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills & Strong verbal and written communication skills
