We are looking for a motivated ZNOC professional to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background in electrical, telecom, or computer science disciplines. This role focuses on monitoring network and transmission systems, collaborating with field teams, and ensuring faults are resolved promptly to maintain optimal network performance. Key Responsibilities
Monitor power, hardware, and environmental alarms to maintain system stability. Coordinate with OFAN and NOD field staff for various tasks and fault rectifications. Accurately track and close tickets using appropriate Cause Codes, covering MSAGs, partial outages, GPON outages, temporary issues, and hardware problems. Provide Level 3 support and manage hardware issue resolutions. Promptly report and resolve partial outages to minimize network disruption. Analyze cable cuts and implement strategies to reduce their occurrence. Complete ring configurations for MSAGs to improve network availability. Manage ticketing processes with vendors, including opening and closing tickets. Restore cable cuts in line with KPIs and SLAs to reduce downtime. Support fiber build-up activities related to commissioning MSAGs, corporate, and carrier links. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cable cuts and low power issues to track network health.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Telecom, or Computer Science. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Network Support Engineer. Mandatory certifications such as CCNA or CCNP. Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities. Willingness to work on-site in Lahore.
