As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, this role is essential in providing a warm, professional, and efficient reception experience within the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient registration, scheduling appointments, and addressing general inquiries, all while ensuring strict confidentiality and adhering to the hospital’s high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors courteously upon arrival.
- Register new patients and accurately update existing patient records using the hospital management system.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments in coordination with doctors and relevant departments.
- Manage telephone inquiries by directing calls to appropriate personnel and providing accurate information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Handle billing inquiries, collect payments, and issue receipts as required.
- Coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient service delivery.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and data protection regulations.
- Assist with administrative duties including filing, correspondence, and record management.
- Efficiently manage daily attendance sheets, visitor logs, and front desk reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in front desk, customer service, or hospital reception roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software such as HIS or EMR.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Presentable appearance and courteous demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:

- This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs45,000.
