Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a " Head IT Infrastructure (Banking Sector) " for our leading client.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Karachi

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Minimum Requirement:

Senior-level IT professional with 10+ years of experience
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication abilities
Deep technical knowledge
Proven track record in infrastructure management
Strong background in datacentre, network operations & system administration
Experience managing teams and budgets
Track record of strategic planning and execution
Financial acumen for budget planning and OPEX optimization
Knowledge and experience of Islamic Banking

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

Develop IT infrastructure planning and design strategy
Drive operations for high availability of IT services
Manage budgets and optimize operational costs
Develop talent and build leadership capacity within the team

Technical Expertise:

Network and datacenter operations management
Infrastructure design and capacity planning
Security policy implementation and controls
System performance evaluation and optimization
Vendor and stakeholder relationship management

Key Performance Indicators:

Maximum system uptime
Problem-solving velocity
Documentation quality
Change control effectiveness

Professional certifications highly desirable:

Networking: CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
Security: CISSP/CISM/CISA/CEH
Systems: RHCE/MCSE/VCP/Linux
Frameworks: ITIL/PMP/COBIT/ISO27001

Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus
