Responsibilities
- Drive company Light Transport Vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate pick-up, drop-off, and delivery operations as per schedules.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance to ensure operational safety.
- Supervise and lead a team of 10 drivers, providing training, support, and monitoring compliance with standards.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly to management for immediate resolution.
- Keep all driving-related documents, including licenses and vehicle registrations, valid and up to date.
- Plan and optimize routes based on a strong familiarity with Karachi and surrounding areas, especially Port Qasim.
- Promote and enforce safety measures for the team and vehicle to minimize risks during transportation.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes.
- Maintain punctuality and professional conduct at all times to represent the company positively.
