A medium sized, Multan based organization needs a dynamic person to head its sales department.

Job Profile:

Responsible for all sales activities of Business Unit (SBU) in Pakistan. The scope of the position covers Company’s all chemicals product lines across the company.

The primary objective of the role is to develop and spearhead the growth strategy and able to work within a diverse clientele including B2B, Corporate and national/multinational companies in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the business development of a new business line (Chemicals/Adhesives) by attracting new buyers & clients and managing relationships.
  • Should have experience in (preferably) B2B, B2C sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, he will be responsible for developing relationships with the clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Keep an eye on the new development in the market / give feedback on competition / develop new products in synergy with the existing line of business of the company.
  • You would be required to travel nationally for business development and participate in the exhibitions.
  • Analyzing client requirements & achieving the financial targets.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed.

Desired Competencies/Skills:

  • Entrepreneurial orientation with experience growing business positions
  • Comfort and capability working in a x-functional organization -- able to work in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.

Required Candidate profile:

  • Chemistry Graduate/Chemical Engineer (preferably MBA)
  • Aged minimum 45 years with minimum 10 years experience in sales/business management in Glue/Adhesive, Wood Glue, Construction Chemicals
  • Experience in working with MNC or good local companies is preferred.
